Facilities
Here emphasis is placed upon spacious accommodation, friendliness and cleanliness in conjunction with “four diamond” accreditation. All rooms readily offer a comfortable arrangement for any type of stay (see attached “room plan”). Guests are provided with access keys thus ensuring a “home from home” environment. Linen hygiene is undertaken on the premises thus ensuring a high level of cleanliness and freshness.
Bedrooms

We have beautiful double, family and twin rooms, all with En-suite facilities. Our bedrooms have all been individually furnished to give them their own character. Each room has many refinements including remote-controlled colour television, a generous courtesy tray with beverage making facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hair dryer, shave point, trouser press plus an alarm-clock radio. |

Every bedroom has its own individually controlled heating system and most bedrooms have scenic views over the surrounding Somerset countryside. For that special occasion we can provide flowers or chocolates in your room for your arrival at a small extra charge.

Dining
A purpose built spacious room is provided on the ground floor. In the morning guests can pre-select from a full list of cooked varieties their preferred meal and the manner within which it is cooked. Fruit juices, cereals and fresh fruit together with locally produced preserves are available on a self service basis. Additional varieties can be provided by prior arrangement. |

An optional three course evening meal is available. Here, guests can chose from a selection of starters, main course and desserts. Alcoholic beverages and wine can be purchased by the guests to drink with their meal.
All meals are prepared on the premises using fresh local produce whenever possible. We are happy to cater for those preferring vegetarian meals or those requiring special dietary foods, subject to prior notice.
Lounge
We have a large and very comfortable private Residents lounge where guests are invited to unwind at the end of the day.
The lounge offers remote-controlled television, video and DVD facilities. A small library of books and a selection of board games and DVDs are provided.

Train Enthusiasts
In keeping with the increase in railway tourism a model railway system has been installed within the reception area. Here guests can try out their skills at shunting engines using the array of motorised points. Check out the attached “model railway plan” or visit www.thegoodsyard.co.uk
Other information
Reservations
A deposit of £20.00 per person is required within 7-days of booking the reservation. Please make cheques available to the “The Kingsway”. If you prefer to pay by debit card, this can be easily done over the phone.
Bookings may commence on any day of the week – subject to availability.
We operate a cancellation policy that is dependant upon when the booking is made. Further details will be known to you at the time of confirmation. Similarly, we would wish you to note that we are unable to accommodate children younger than 12 years of age.

Meal Times
Breakfast is served between 8 and 9 in the morning or earlier by prior arrangement. Dinner is served at 6.00 in the evening. Please note that we do not serve dinners on a Wednesday and the tariff has been adjusted accordingly to compensate for this.

Transfer Facilities
We are able to meet and collect guests arriving by bus or train at a small charge subject to prior notice.

Parking Facilities
Adequate parking is available on and off the premises.

Golfing breaks
“The Kingsway” is situated less than 5 minutes by car from “Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club” which can be viewed on www.minehead-golf-club.co.uk. Golfing breaks are available subject to prior notice, either as full board or simply bed & breakfast. The Kingsway offers ample space to store and recharge overnight any electric trolleys.
